DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNELS – CAN THO CITY (L – D)
8.00 AM: The tourguide will pick you up at your hotel and go to Cu Chi Tunnels – an underground tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. It took about 25 years to build this underground city, which has living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, storage facilities and command center. The tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans and home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for several years.
After finishing our trip to Cu Chi, we will head to the Mekong Delta.
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Next places, we will go to visit Binh Thuy ancient house. Binh Thuy villa is a representative architecture of the “Western Capital”, which is a testament to the cultural exchange achievements through the arts, a sophisticated beauty but delicate, dreamy and luxurious.
As a harmonious stroke in a rhythmic whole of landscape and architecture, Binh Thuy villa is a destination that everyone who comes to the West Capital should pay a visit.
Then, the car will drop you off at the hotel.
6.00 PM: Take you to the local restaurant and have dinner.
Free time to explore Can Tho city at night time.
DAY 2: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – HO CHI MINH CITY (B – L)
After breakfast, we’ll pick you up at the hotel at 07:30 for an early floating market trip. It takes about 40 minutes to get to our first landscape – Cai Rang floating market. You’ll have a chance to try some fruits…
Go on to reach a noodle and a rice paper factory to discover how locals make rice paper, noodles, and other traditional products in Cai Rang.
Another 15-minute boat ride shall take you to a fruit orchard where we will have 30 minutes of biking around the countryside. This is the very time to leave the main tourist trail and go off-grid to discover local life…
We will enjoy at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit the Purple House, it’s a café with everything is decorated in purle. You can use the ticket to exchange a free drink over there. That’s a nice place for you to take pictures if you are a “live on the internet” person. Just take your time and relax there.
Make your way to Cai Be via land transfers, with a side trip to Cao Dai Temple in the main province of Tien Giang. This temple is the Cao Dai faith’s Holy See, one of the most popular landmarks in Southern Vietnam.
On the way back, we will go to visiting Kimmy Chocolate Factory, which provides chocolates with different flavors, and you can try them freely.
After that, we head back to Ho Chi Minh City.
6.00 PM: Dropping you off at your place in Sai Gon, we say good bye and hope to see you again in other tours.
