DAY 1: HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL – PICK UP (D)

Flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival Tan Son Nhat International Airport (12PM), after clearing all customs procedures, please proceed to exit gate and look for your DRIVER who will be waiting outside and holding the Halu Vietnam Tours signboard with your name on it.

The driver will transfer you to the hotel, check in and take a rest. 

Have dinner on cruise.

DAY 2: VUNG TAU BEACH 1 DAY (B – L)

06:00 AM. Pick you up from hotel depart for Vung Tau. Breakfast en route.

9:00 AM. On arrival Vung Tau and leisure time at Thuy Van beach (Back beach) – one of the nicest beaches in Vietnam with the shore runs for almost 10km, full with fine sands and white waves. Authentic Vietnamese SEAFOOD lunch is served at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the Jesus Christ Statue, Thang Tam Temple (Whale Temple), Bach Dinh (a.k.a. Villa Blanche in French or White Palace in English), Cape Nghinh Phong. Taking a short break. Back to Ho Chi Minh City around 18:00pm. End trip.

DAY 3: CAN GIO ISLAND TOUR 1DAY ( B- L) – DINNER ON CRUISE 

GROUP TOUR 

8:15 AM. Our tour guide pick you up at booking agents and head to Can Gio, otherwise known as “Monkey Island”.

On arrival, we visit mangrove forest to see over 1,000 monkeys, living there, you also can feed and take photos with many monkeys surrounding and climbing on your shoulder. Continue with a short walk to alligator farm, where local people conserve many huge alligators from the “American war” and you can try “alligator fishing” (optional). Then take speed boats to “Sac” guerilla camp built in deep jungle. Today the camp has become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what jungle life in the war must have been like. 

We will then stop at local seafood market selling various kinds of fresh seafood regarding octopus, lobster, ray, etc and dried foods. There, enjoy a welcome drink (sugar cane juice) before having Vietnamese style lunch at a beach resort, where we are at leisure for swimming and sight-seeing.

Before heading back to Saigon, we visit a nearby house of local people, then walking through their mango gardens and tasting fresh mangoes.

Finally, we transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city & end the tour at approximately 17:30 PM..

18:45PM. We pick you up at hotel and transfer to cruise have dinner on there.

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY – MY THO – BEN TRE – CAN THO (B – L – D) 

7:00 AM. Pick up your group at hotel and then a smooth one and a half hour bus ride passing the green rice fields, leads you to the beautiful rural My Tho City.

8:30 AM. Arrive to My Tho, the bus will stop at Mekong Reststop to take a break about 15 minutes. Heading to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda an oldest ancient one in Southern Vietnam. Known as the largest pagoda and the most special architecture in Mekong Delta. It’s architecture was influenced by Vietnamese culture and Khmer’s culture as well as European’s architecture.

10:00AM. The morning trip continues on the motorized boat on the Tien river to visit the island. Arrive Unicorn Island, you will visit the pomelo farm and the bee farm at the same time. Enjoy honey tee and royal jelly from the farm. After that, the electric car will ride you on the village road to enjoy the atmosphere of the countryside. Arrive Xu Dua to listen to folk music in the Delta, the artist will use the traditional instruments and sing folk music,wearing  “ao dai” – traditional dress of Viet Nam. You will be served 5 different tropical fruits on the table while listening to music. Back to boat, heading to Ben Tre province “hometown of coconut” in Viet Nam to visit Coconut Candy Factory. You can learn how Vietnamese people make candy in a tradional way, you can try some candy that just cook.

12:00 PM. Around the restaurant area, we enjoy the rowing boat. The local people will row you on a small boat through a canal is covered with water coconut at 2 sides of the canal. The beautiful view appears in front of your eyes will make you feel comfortable and relax. Then, back to the restaurant for lunch. You can try the special food of this area, fried elephant ear fish. “dinosaur’s egg”, etc… After lunch, you will have free time to visit the village, we have free bike for you riding around.

Back to the boat trip again to back to the bus. On the way you can review 4 islands one more time. Dragon, Unicorn, Turtoise and Phoenix Island.

Go to Can Tho City. Arrive the city around 18:00 PM, tourguide will help you with check in at the hotel. 19:00 PM your tourguide will pick you up at the hotel’s lobby for dinner. You will have dinner on a 5* cruise. After dinner you will have free time to explore the city at night. You can wander around the walking street or enjoy the local cuisine or street food at the Ninh Kieu night market.

DAY 5: CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – HO CHI MINH CITY (B – L)

After breakfast, visit Cai Rang floating market. The unique culture just only in the South of Vietnam, in Mekong Delta. During the boat trip, you can see how Vietnamese people live on the river and their normal activities. You can learn how the local people selling stuff on a boat, it’s definitely different from selling at the maket on land. You also can learn how to make rice noodle and you can do it by your own. Even, you can try a really special food from the river like dried fish, dried frog or even dried snake

Leaving the floating market, you keep going to visit Truc Lam Zen Monastary, the biggest Monastary in Mekong Delta. After that, heading to My Khanh Tourist Village to have free time and have lunch over there.

After lunch, visit the Purple House, it’s a café with everything is decorated in purle. The entrance fee is not included in the tour, 60.000 vnđ/pax included a free drink. You are not suppose to visit this place, it’s depends on you.

Back to HCMC, arrive HCMC at around 18:00 PM. 

DAY6: CU CHI TUNNELS  – CITY TOUR FULL DAY( B – L)

GROUP TOUR 

8:00 AM. Pick up at hotel lobby for Cu Chi Tunnels and City tour full day. 

On the road, we arrive at Handicraft Village. You can find out about traditional Vietnamese art paintings. Paintings are drawn sophisticatedly and brightly.

We may stop along the way for refreshments and toilet. 

9:00 AM. It takes us 1 hour to reach Ben Dinh – a system network belonging to Cu Chi Tunnels.

When you go through the entrance, you will watch a brief of propaganda video, which introduce Vietnam war and the way the tunnels were utilized to struggle against G.Is in Vietnam war.

We will visit the surroundings and follow our tour guide to discover the Ben Dinh tunnel. Tour guide will explain to you the life of people who lived under the ground and how they survived and contacted  each other

Then, you will experience realistically by crawling through the tunnels and eating boiled tapioca which was the main food people had to digest day by day. Take some rest and have intersting conversations about the war in the past.

12h00 PM. Lunch time! We have lunch at Ben Dinh restaurant. 

14:00 PM. The coach/ car takes us back to Ho Chi Minh city. We will visit Reunification Palace – The building, which was named Norodom Palace, was constructed for the French government in 1868. After The French moved out of  Norodom Palace, The South Vietnam president was taken over and rebuilt the palace with the design of Ngo Viet Thu. This place is famous not only for its history but also  for its unique architecture.

03h30 PM: We keep going to two popular places which are known as symbols in Ho Chi Minh city. Central Post Office, which built between 1886 and 1891, has French colonial architecture combined with Eastern style. This place has been existed with history of Ho Chi Minh city for a long time and there are two painted maps created inside the post office. One map is titled “Telegraphic lines of Southern Việt Nam and Cambodia 1892” and the other is titled “Sài Gòn and its surroundings 1892”.

Not far away is Notre Dame Cathedral, constructed in 1863 and fully constructed in 1880 by French architecture, has Roman architectural style mixed with Gothic architectural style and including cathedral, two bell towers (58 meters) and park outside. The building has been in remodeling, so we are not able to go inside, but the view outside is wonderful and worth checking in.

16:00 PM. Continue the journey, we head to War Remnants Museum. The must – visit museum for tourists in Ho Chi Minh city. The first name was ““Exhibition House for U.S. and Puppet Crimes” in 1975, but the name was changed to ” “Exhibition House for Crimes of War and Aggression” in 5 years later. Until now, it has the name “War Remnants Museum” in which displays, stores and preserves evils and outcomes of the war. This place is also the last destination in this trip.

DAY 7: FREE TIME TO EXPLORE SAIGON BY YOUR OWN WAY (B)

DAY 8: FREE TIME – CHECK OUT – AIRPORT DROP OFF (B)
